Not sure if any of you have checked out the new page (link on the top right sidebar) BUT I've added a separate one for drawings! Right now, it's got a few of mine and a couple of coloring pages! Feel free to download and use the latter! I know some people have been working on fan art of their own, and I would LOVE to include it as well! If you've got something, the best way right now to get a hold of me to share it is on Goodreads.com. There are links to my account all over this blog, but you can always just go there and look me up :) Private messages are usually responded to within 24 hours! Please, if you haven't already, rate and review Amid Stars and Darkness there as well! Ratings are a huge help in getting more people to see/hear/and actually read the book! And remember, it's available in bookstores and online! The hardcover is gorgeous with these amazing shimmery accents; it would make a pretty gift, just saying. ;)
Anyway, above is the drawing with a copy of the book, and below is a close up. These are photos, not scans, so the detailing isn't as good as if it were the latter, but I love these glow stars that came with my box from Swoon and had to use them! If you're curious about checking out more characters from this and other books, check the page! I'll be adding as I go. There's no set amount of time or anything like that. I'm just doing to draw when I feel like it.
I recently joined the Sketchbook Project (if you haven't heard of this, look it up!!!) and decided that I'm going to fill the book with portraits of characters from my various books. Generally, I'm a celebrity or commission work artist, but this seemed like a great opportunity to branch out with my art and try my hand at bringing some of these characters in my head to visual life!
