Unhinged + Unleashed Exclusive Cover Reveals!!!

I thought about releasing these separately, but decided against it. For one, the book boxes that include these exclusive covers are already on sale, so the longer I waited to show you, the less of a chance you had of actually getting to purchase one! Besides, I'm also not that cruel, to dangle one in front of you and without the other...

So, hopefully by now we've all already seen the original covers, but, if you haven't you can take a look over on the left sidebar. The covers, as well as links to where both books can be purchased, are there! BUT if you haven't yet gotten your copy of Unhinged, you might want to consider getting the Polyethnic VIP book box instead, because it comes with copies of BOTH the first and second books in this series, AND it comes with the exclusive covers I will be showing you in a moment!

They're very different from the original covers, which I think only adds to the appeal because they are exclusives! There's only one way to get them, and once they're gone, they're gone! I'll do them one at a time. Here is the new exclusive cover for Unhinged:

Holy Crap, right?! Hadrian is HOT! I absolutely love this cover, every single thing about it! Fun fact, I helped Melissa (who created these two covers herself) pick the stock photo for this one! I loved this image of the guy covered in what looked like Underworld Ash, and I think the hands are such a spooky nice touch. Plus, his blue eyes, am I right? Everything else Melissa did herself, and she did such a fantastic job! I can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy of this!!!

AH! Look at Spencer! I didn't have any hand in this one, which Melissa created first. Isn't it beautiful? I love that it has this somewhat eerie feel to it, perfect for this series! I also love the colors and the font! I think these two make such a beautiful set, and I am so excited to have them showcased on my bookshelf and on my instagram!

So, to recap, these two gorgeous covers will ONLY BE AVAILABLE if you purchase one of the Polyethnic's VIP March "Be Our Guest" boxes! Frustrating? Maybe. But it's the only way! After all, that's what makes them exclusive, right?

There is also a regular box, which is a little cheaper than the VIP, but that will only come with a paperback version of Unleashed. It will have the exclusive cover, but the ebook copy of Unhinged, which comes with it, will probably be the original cover. So, if you really want both of these (and, come on, who doesn't want that Hadrian cover, honestly?) purchasing a VIP box is the only way to do so! These boxes don't just come with books either, there's also a ton of other really fun and great items included! A few examples are bookmarks, prints, and chocolate! The original covers will be available in stores (the first book, Unhinged, already is), so you'll be able to pick up a copy in either hardcover or paperback at Barnes and Noble, or even on Amazon! You did read that right, by the way. The original covers can be purchased in hardcover! If you haven't yet seen pictures of the first book in hardcover, go check out my instagram (or even previous posts)! It's so pretty! I'm crazy excited to add the hardcover copy of Unleashed to it. That's the best part, is that both of these different cover sets are so beautiful and unique! Personally, I'm definitely glad that I'll be getting both!

Side note: Some of you may have noticed that the original cover for Unleashed was altered yesterday. This is because we realized I had been given a slightly duller version, which unfortunately, was the one that was posted here and on goodreads.com. Now that it's corrected, you'll find that the colors are a lot brighter, and therefore, in my opinion, a lot better! I just think it's all around prettier.

Okay, so that should be it for now. I really hope you guys love and enjoy these exclusive covers as much as I do! And if you like both these and the original, why not buy both? A cheap way to do it is by getting the VIP box now, and then purchasing copies of the original covers later! There's no exact release date for Unleashed yet, but it will be coming out sometime in March, right after book boxes go out! We're still working at the design and actual book, so we don't want to give a set date just yet. But it will definitely be March, obviously, seeing as how this is the book for the months box!

Unleashed Cover Reveal!!!

 

Isn't it beautiful? Don't you love it?! I love it. I think I might even love it more than I did the first one for Unhinged! Thanks to the cover artist and the Polyethnic for gracing my book with yet another spectacular cover upgrade! I cannot wait for you guys to be able to get your hands on these (I can't wait to get my hands on a hardcover copy myself) and I'm excited that they're coming out NEXT MONTH! In case you missed my previous post, go check that out below! It's worth it. At least, I think it is because it's riddled with Chris Wood gifs and tons of info on how you can already purchase your copy of Unleashed! That's right! Okay, I lied about the C.W thing. But come on, Kai is back! I love you if you know what I'm talking about. Though, to be honest, I wasn't a fan of Season 7....Wow. I am getting WAY off track now! But I'm not deleting anything. Lol. I don't have the time to rewrite this and make it prim and seem more professional! This is what you're getting, people! Unleashed Release Date + MORE (Cover reveal to come!)

Hey all (fair warning, I am killing this post with gifs)

This is a long one, but please bear with me, especially so you can find out when the cover reveal is! I've been away for a while, super busy working on the first draft of the second book of Amid Stars and Darkness (which now has a tentative working title!!!) and doing edits for the final copy of the second book in my Underworld saga, Unleashed! Lol. Don't ask me why I went with Chris Wood for this, I just did. ANYWHO, I spent all of December plus January working on one book, took a week break at the beginning of Feb. and started working on edits for another book, which most of you already know about. This new version on Unleashed will be (hopefully) a little better, and much easier to acquire considering it's being published by a company and not self published by little ol' me. So, I've been spending all my time twiddling away on these edits and then last night I have a conversation with my publisher. Ready to know what it was about?

Originally, the book wasn't even supposed to come out until April, BUT...

Because I feel excited!!! And nervous, because I was not prepared to speed up my editing process. But I'm confidant that I can do it, and I trust that my publisher will be able to handle everything else. Side note: anyone sick of me using Chris Wood gifs yet? No. Great. Because...

A major reason for speeding up the release date is so that it can fit the theme for The Polyethnic's March book box! Yes! It's going to be in a BOOK BOX!!! Hello!

Not a very interesting post today, I'm afraid. Just figured I'd do an update seeing as how it's been since the 6th since I've last posted.

I was in VT from last Friday to this Tuesday visiting friends! It was a lot of fun, and because my friends understand this is what I do, I also got a lot of writing done, so yay! My deadline for the first rough draft of the second book (the book after Amid Stars and Darkness, currently untitled) is fast approaching and I'm quickly winding to the end. Of course though, the second I get back I get a head cold, so I currently feel sick and miserable. :( Hopefully it clears up soon so I can get back to finishing the book!!! :)

There's still one R2R copy (I believe) of Unhinged left on the Goodreads.com group, and you can sign up by clicking the link offered in the previous post! Remember, the book is also available for purchase now in hardcover, paperback, and ebook, links of which can be found in previous posts, and on the sidebar!

Unhinged was written years ago, and my written voice has changed so much since. I'm really happy that it's out there for people to read, but I'm also very excited for people to see the difference (and how much I've improved) when my book Amid Stars and Darkness is released in July. I am crazy excited to share this story with you, and that it'll also be available in hardcover! These two books are also very different. Unhinged in a teen paranormal loosely based on the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades, while Amid Stars and Darkness is a YA Sci-fi about a girl who gets mistaken for an alien and kidnapped.
